Proposal to reduce intake from 90 to 60

PAN consultation

Due to a national fall in birth rate in recent years, schools are receiving a smaller number of applications for admission. Bristol has shared forecasts for the coming years, and we expect numbers in our area to fall for at least the next 5 years. The trustees of Henleaze Junior School are therefore launching a consultation to reduce our Published Admission Number (PAN) in September 2024.

Schools are required by law to consult for 6 weeks prior to making a reduction to the Planned Admission Number. The consultation must be completed by 31st January in the year before the change comes into effect.

This consultation was launched on 9th December 2022 and closes on 20th January 2023.
