How can you help?

A committee of parents from Henleaze Infant School and Henleaze Junior School is formed in January each year to start planning this event, which takes over the whole site on a Saturday afternoon in May (usually).

You don't have to be on the organising committee to get involved, there are plenty of other ways you can help:

Have a Spring Clean and donate second-hand toys, teddies, games, puzzles, children’s clothes and shoes to the Infant School or Junior School offices until Thursday 16th May.

Get creative. For those with children at the Infant school, we’re asking your little ones to fill and decorate sweetie/goodie filled jam jars for the ever-popular lucky-dip. These can be delivered to your Infants’ classroom until Thursday 16th May.

Clear out those unwanted bottles. The Tombola needs unopened bottles (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and these can be delivered to the Junior School Office until Thursday 16th May.

Check if your employer offers match-funding. Last year, we raised an additional £2,000 through match-funding. It’s a really easy way to make a big fund-raising difference.

Sign-Up to do a shift on a stall, selling cakes or marshalling the bouncy castle, or just to help set up or clear away afterwards.

New ideas are always welcome. The May Fair evolves from year to year, hopefully getting better and better!
