World Book Day 2021

Another good opportunity to dress up

March 4th was World Book Day, and as always, children at Henleaze Junior School enjoyed showing off their love of reading by dressing up as book characters. We are proud of the reading culture at our school. During lockdown, lots of children have told us that they have been reading more then ever. In fact, some children are worried that when they come back to school they won't have so much time to read! We've put lots of pictures in the Photo Album.

We are delighted that HENSA have agreed to give the school some money to stock up our class libraries with copies of our Recommended Reads. In case you can't remember what's on the recommended reading list for your year, you can find the lists in the Work Space.
