Sorry for our blog mix up this week, it should all be sorted out now.
In Year 5 this week we have been continuing to work on place value in Maths, especially adding 10, 100 and 1000 to a number. In the second half of the week we went back over Roman numerals tas a revision of work started in year 4.
In English we have been continuing to listen to the story of Beowulf. We have used it to look at past, present and future verb forms and also to look at the way that Michael Morpurgo creates settings and characters.
Our spelling rule this week is silent b -e.g thumb.
