At the end of the spring term, children gathered in the school Hall - transpformed once again into the Eggotaurium - to enjoy one of the real highlights of the Henleaze junior School year. We had more entries than ever this year, and we were especially pleased to see such enthusiasm from Year 3 in their first ever Egg Race.
We've never missed an egg race - even during the pandemic, although for three years we had to make special adaptations. In 2020, we raced with the Infant School in the early days of the first lockdown, whilst other entrants sent in videos of their eggmobiles from home. In 2021, we raced one class at a time in the Hall, due to "bubble" restrictions in school. In 2022, we finally got back to something approaching a cautious "normal", and this year, it was just like the old times!
