In English, we have been using drama to examine the perspective of Stanley - the protagonist of our class reader, Holes. This has helped us to write an informal letter in character, and led to the discovery of some burgeoning dramatic talents!
In maths, our work has centred around special numbers, looking at how to identify lowest common multiples and revising prime numbers.
Spelling this week has covered alternative sounds for 'sh' - including 'ti' (as in 'action') and 'ci' (as in 'politician').
We are looking forward to meeting you to discuss your children's progress at parents' evenings, which start tonight, and it will be non-uniform day on the last Friday of term (25th October).
