This week in English, we are publishing our Holes Letters and writing a poem about a special location.
In Spelling, the rule is the sh sound spelled ti or ci as in Information or politician.
In maths, we are looking at the order of operations using BIDMAS.
Over the half term, all classes need to research an aspect of Elizabethan life to tie in with our Shakespeare Unit. Possible topics could include food, fashion, homes, the theatre (e.g. The Globe), medicines. The children will be writing a formal report on their chosen topic and so need enough detail for a couple of paragraphs. This should be in the form of written notes to show that the children understand what they have read.
