Well this term is certainly going by quickly! Classes are already thinking ahead to our WW2 Experience next term and are enjoying choosing and researching a topic in preparation.
In English we have been writing letters from the point of view of Mr Tom and have had fun learning some new 1940's slang to include, jeepers! In maths, we are practising co-ordinates which is proving to require extreme focus and sharp pencils.
Next week the children will be sitting their mock SATs. We try to make this as close as possible to the experience of the real ones so that they feel prepared in May. It is an opportunity to show what they can already do and allows us to find areas to focus on next. To allow them to do their best and get a fair picture of where they are, we encourage them to get a good nights sleep and a hearty breakfast everyday next week.
Well done to our fabulous bakers, we were amazed by the creativity and generosity on display and wish Sam and Natasha luck at Christ Church tomorrow at the inter-school final!
