Over the last two weeks we have been having a lot of fun in English looking at letter writing. Moving on from our thank you letters to the staff at a Dean Field, we have been working on the features of letter writing and how to make our own letters interesting. We have focused on structure, linking paragraphs by theme and using fronted adverbials.
In Maths we have been revisiting the vertical methods of addition and subtraction. We have also been rounding to 10, 100 and 1000 and then using these to help estimate answers to complex calculations.
In topic we have been looking forward to our Viking day on Monday by making Viking shields and finding out about Viking raids.
We also have our visit to Bristol Cathedral on Friday.
