What a fun start to term 6 we've had.
All classes spent Tuesday morning looking at, holding and touching animals from the rainforest including snakes, tarantulas, scorpions and frogs. Pictures to follow shortly.
In literacy we have started looking at a book called 'Lesser spotted animals' and using it to inspire our own non-fiction writing. Children have been researching animals to create their own fact book written in a similar style to our example text.
In maths, children have been looking over any misunderstandings from our recent assessments. We have also been furthuring our understanding of decimals and how to add subtract them but also how to multiply and divde decimals by 10, 100 an 1000.
