It's been a busy last week of term, with lots of learning and fun!
In Science, all three classes have got 'hands-on' with experiments using thermometers and melting chocolate.
In maths we have been consolidating column addition and moving on to column subtraction. Some children will be coming home with worksheets to reinforce learning within the classroom. As always, we appreciate your support in helping your children to complete these to the best of their ability.
English classes have been continuing their study of information texts and our grammar focus has been determiners and structuring sentences.
Spelling patterns have been the suffix -sure and the prefix -auto, such as automatic and autograph. Spelling logs with children's individual words to practise over half term will also be coming home on Friday.
Well done everyone for working hard and settling in well in term 1. We wish you all a relaxing holiday and look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 6th November, as Monday 5th is INSET day.
