Hello Year 4 and welcome to week 1 of term 6
We hope you have all had an amazing and relaxing half term break, spending time with your families and that you have enjoyed the glorious sunshine that we were blessed with last week.
A huge thank you to those of you who have emailed us your self-assessment report. They have been beautifully presented with lots of thoughtful comments and we have loved reading about all the things you have been proud of achieving this year and the ideas you have about how you are going to continue to grow and improve your learning next year. If you haven’t sent us your report yet, we look forward to receiving it at some point this week.
Well done for making it through term 5. We were blown away by all your incredible learning, creativity and beautiful presentation. Now we have another term of exciting home learning to look forward to. You class video this week is all about being creative but also showing us your perseverance. We are asking you to design and make a drawstring sunglasses pouch to protect your sunglasses when you are not wearing them this summer. We would have been making these from recyclable materials in school during term 6. You can take a few weeks to design and make your sunglasses pouch so you can be really proud of the end result and show us that you can be a creative unicorn and also a resilient tortoise.
We look forward to receiving all your fabulous home learning in term 6, seeing if you can be great yetis, awarding lots more team points and hopefully seeing some amazing sunglasses pouch designs.
