Weekly Update

This week in Maths, we have focused on place value looking at counting on and backwards in 25s, from any given number.

In English, we have continued to plan and write our fantasy stoies thinking about using interesting vocabulary and accurately punctuating speech. We will continue to write our stories and focus on editing and publishing our work.

Homework

Your child should continue to complete a minimum of three reads each week, reading aloud with an adult, which must be recorded in the yellow reading log book and handed into the class teacher, so that team points maybe awarded.

We have also been learning our 4 times tables and revising our 3, 6 and 9s.

Spelling - Unit 2.

This week we focused on spellings in unit 3, 'words using the prefix auto'. Children will be logging their 6 words.
