This week in maths we have been finding fractions of amounts making great use of our multiplication facts and division. To remember this we divide by the bottom and multiply by the top.
To find 2/3 of 24 we do 24/3 =8 then we multiply 8x2=16 therefore 2/3 of 24 is 16.
