We hope you had a lovely holiday and are right back into the swing of things!
This week, we have been using our times tables to consolidate our understanding of the grid method for multiplication. Please continue to use your times tables at home, which can be recorded in your reading logs as a 'read'.
In English, we have been continuing to write our description on a picture using: similes, adjectives, verbs, conjunctions and adverbs, to name a few. You can practise these words with your child. Can they put a range of words into these categories, successfully?
Spellings
This week's spelling-sound is 'ay' spelt as eigh, ei and ey. For example eight, grey, vein, neigh, veil and reign.
Cycle training is happening over the next couple of weeks so please check your communication from school so you know which day your child is participating. If the form is not completed, your child will not be allowed to participate at all.
