Maths and English
This week we have been reflecting on our learning and revising some areas from our end of year tests.
We have learnt much and realise that we need to practise our times tables, learn our number bonds, practice column multiplication and addition and subtraction over the summer holidays.
We often made mistakes like completing the calculation as an addition sum, instead of subtraction or vice versa.
This week we are looking at homophones which are words which have the same sound but different spelling. E.g. heal and heel, new and knew, hair and hare.
We will be having an end of year assessment on all 64 orange words next week so spend some time practising the ones your child finds tricky, over the weekend.
