Thank you to the 18 medical students who came in for an afternoon to tell our Year 5 and 6 children all about their experience studying medicine at Bristol University. The Meet A Medic scheme is organised by Clifton Scientific Trust as a free offer to schools, to inspire young people to pursue their studies in the science subjects.
During the afternoon, the students divided into groups of three and spent a couple of hours in the classrooms, showing the children some of the equipment they use, teaching them about some of the science they use in their studies and answering questions about how they got into medical school.
